The Royal Marriage is the only legitimate marriage of Lady Iris Mountbatten or/and of Captain Hamilton O'Malley - their Royal Marriage was duly solemnized on 15th February 1941 at 12pm in Saint Mary's Church of England Parish in Brantridge Park in Balcombe in Sussex by Special License by the Archbishop of Canterbury and this said Marriage is registered in the Home Office, Lord Chamberlain Office, and various other Royal Registers.

This Marriage as a Royal Marriage was Classified Information
until released to the public in Sept. 2008 by the National Archives Library - Freedom of information Act 2000





THE ROYAL MARRIAGE:-
between Lady Iris Mountbaten and Captain Hamilton O'Malley
that was duly solemnized at 12pm in St. Mary's Church of England Parish
in Brantridge Park in Balcombe in Sussesx in England.
This marriage was rushed as Hamilton O'Malley was drafted by the Army.
The marriage was not celebrated in the Royal fashion of those days due to Britain 
at War with Germany.  

WITNESSES:- Alexander Mountbatten, 1st Marquess of Carisbrooke (father of Lady Iris) signed Carisbrooke  and Irene Mountbatten, Marchioness of Carisbrooke (mother of Lady Iris) signed Irene and also HRH Princess Beatrice of Battenberg Princess of the United Kingdom signed Beatrice and Elizabeth the Queen Consort wife of King George VI, signed Elizabeth and also Lady Nina Blackwell (Captain Hamilton O'Malley's paternal aunt and wife of Sir William Blackwell Bt.) signed Nina M. Gordon-Blackwell and also Giles Vandeleur (the Best Man and Army Comrade of Captain Hamilton O'Malley) signed Giles Vandeleur and also the Rector  D. L. Secreton
