a prisoner of war, late September 1944, he then, a Glider in the Glider Pilot Regiment.  Captain Hamilton putting the V sign for Victory!  he was tortured and later escaped and returned to his base as a Glider in the Glider Pilot Regiment in the Battle of Arnhem of which he received a Victoria Cross (highest honor award) for his bravery and services to the King.
 Possibly Heinrich Himmler on the left of the photo, wearing specticles. Himmler was the leader of the SS Party, one of the most powerful Nazi in Germany and also one of the persons responsible for the Holocaust.

he died at his home - his body has not been 
found.  Accordingly to the Funeral Directors in Benalmadena
his body was not cremated nor buried nor transported - only a
mass had taken place at a local church. Possible his body was transported
to a church and buried at the church basement.  Some people bury their dead
at a church in the cellar to enable to participate in religious ceremonies
 to contact the dead.

Captain Hamilton O'Malley married Lady Iris Mountbatten on 15th February 1941 at 12pm at St. Mary's Church of England Parish in Brantridge Park in Balcombe in the County of Sussex in England. and this said marriage is registered in the Royal Marriage Register at Chapel Royal. The couple also had a Blessing Ceromony in St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Hayward Heath in Sussex in England after their wedding took place in St. Mary's on the same day.

that caused her not be able to have children.

Betty and her sister Margaret (an actress) were adopted by a British Ambassador and his wife.

Lieutenant-Colonel J. K. Middleton O'Malley-Keyes, whose death took place at Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, on February 18, was the eldest son of the late Mr. Middleton Moore O'Malley, J.P., of Westport, County Mayo, by his second wife, Letitia Josephine, daughter of Mr. David Ruttledge Keyes, of Furry Park, in the same county. Born in 1882, the deceased gallant officer, who took the additional name of Keyes by deed poll in 1916, was educated at Ushaw College and at the Royal Military Academy. From 1901 until 1919, in which latter year he retired on a war disability pension, Lieut.-Col. O'MalleyKeyes served with the Royal Field Artillery; he was twice mentioned in despatches for his conduct in the Great War. At a later period (1923-4) he was Lieutenant-Colonel commanding the 63rd Brigade of the R.F.A. Territorial Army.—R./.P.

Jane O'Malley-Keyes made a Trust re her interest in the Mathew Byrnes Estate to be given to her husband Middleton O'Malley-Keyes in favour for their children.
